Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-02-02T03:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-02-02T03:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N13E35
Active Region Number: 14366
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME/outflow seen to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1 and (most clearly) in STEREO A COR2 following and overlapping with CME: 2026-02-02T00:48Z. (Its start in LASCO might be somewhat different). This is the most distinct outflow front among the multiple follow ups to CME: 2026-02-02T00:48Z. It is especially distinct in STEREO A COR2, as it seems to have a higher latitude than the CME: 2026-02-02T00:48Z. Its source is not clear but could be the long-duration M5.2 flare from AR 4366 (N13E35) peaking at 2026-02-02T02:51Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT -17.0 30.0 369.0 S 37.0 2026-02-02T12:42Z Speculative analysis based on the fit of the front in three coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO C2/C3, STEREO A COR2 and GOES CCOR-1). It is not clear which of the multiple fronts in SOHO/CCOR-1 corresponds to the more clear front in STEREO A. The possible source (flare from AR 14366) is more eastward than the longitude we are obtaining from triangulation, so there might be westward deflection of the CME. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
